This isn't really a comedy special. This is a woman who had had a tremendously difficult life telling the world about it. She takes on self-deprecating comedy. She also takes on those in the LGBT community as a lesbian. 'I cook more than I lesbian, but I am not introduced as a chef comedian'. She tells stories from her past that are upsetting. It is a powerful 'comedy' special from a marginalized person. You may not like it but you need to watch it.
