This was a fantastic documentary. There was so much I learned about Fred Rogers that I didn't know. His patients with kids and other people in general is amazing. It didn't translate at home 1 to 1 though.
The way he defended his assertion that everyone is special was great. It is mostly about self-worth. Everyone has self-worth and needs to be reminded of that form time to time. It would be nice if we could all be a little bit more like Mr. Rogers.
If you have any memories of the show, then you should see this movie. I am considering trying to figure out how to watch old episodes as a result. His 'week on topic' were news to me and may contain lessons I can use in my life today.
