If you want a non-holiday version of the original Die Hard go see it. Don't directly compare it though. It is a solid action movie that reveals the McGuffin later in the movie than you would think. CGI fire could use some work. The Rock's wife is pretty bad ass too, but don't marry your surgeon. This is a great hot day popcorn movie.
