If you loved the original go see it! There is a post credits scene. It does recycle a lot of plot devices. The McGuffin is nearly identical to the original. I found less quotable lines than the original but maybe repeated viewings will change that.
If you didn't like the original then skip the sequel you aren't going to enjoy it
